Full Instructional Package…$35 (1-2 hours)
Never climbed before and not sure where to start? Consider our Full Instructional Package- working closely with a staff member, you will learn basic climbing movement and skills, knots, and how to properly operate the ropes. All equipment and climbing included.

Basic Belay Package…$15 (30 mins)
This package teaches the basic skills needed to properly operate the ropes and tie the knots. No climbing, harness included.

DOWNTOWN LOCATION

Climbmax Climbing Center has a variety of rate options to meet your needs.  For those only visiting or not able to visit frequently we have Day Pass rates.  Those climbers that want to come frequently, even every day perhaps, may choose from several monthly or Annual Member Rates.

DAY PASSES

Includes climbing on all indoor climbing areas blow the painted line (approximately 8 – 12 feet) WITHOUT the use of ropes OR staff assistance.

Includes use of all ClimbMax top ropes, auto belays, lead climbing stations, as well as bouldering.
Does not include staff assistance, or personal equipment.
*ALL BELAYERS must pass a standard belay test*

BELAY SERVICES

Don’t know how to belay? No problem! In this service the staff ties the knots, puts on the harness and manages the ropes. This allows the climbers to both, boulder (climb below a certain height) &rope climb with staff providing assistance, indoors or outdoors. (Reservations Recommended)

Warrior's Way; Falling & Commitment

A workshop offered by Arno Ilgner and Jon Richard. "This training addresses falling directly to help improve commitment. We do progressive falling practice, followed by movement, breathing, resting, and body/mind awareness exercises. Finally, students apply everything to a goal route. Students leave understanding how to take appropriate risks and how to commit to those risks." You’ll learn how to: Fall safely Give a dynamic (cushioned) belay Break a climb into smaller risk events Assess risks effectively Distinguish between no- and yes-fall zones Engage no- and yes-fall zones appropriately Make appropriate risk decisions Improve body and mind awareness Rest effectively Improve breathing Create flow and momentum Deal with climbing stress Commit more deliberately Reduce fear, and more – Pre-requisites: Able to toprope 5.8 in a gym with no falls Climb indoors/outdoors at least 1-2 times per week At least 6 months of continuous climbing experience within the last year If climbers want to practice Lead exercises they must be lead certified through the gym before the day of the event. $99 for gym members/ $119 for non-members. Maximum of 8 participants. Pre-registration is required. Call 828-505-4446 for more information.
