Indoor Basics-Bouldering
A.M. Quick introductions and brief meeting to establish the details of the week. Fun introduction games and trust building initiatives. Creative thinking exercise.
LUNCH
P.M. A quick look at basic bouldering skills including: foot movement, body position, hand skills and techniques. |

Indoor Basics - Knot Tying
A.M. Warm up with bouldering skills. Advanced bouldering skills. Introduction to rope work and knots. Belay commands.
LUNCH
P.M. An afternoon resting the hands and arms of the climbers by painting their own pottery at Fired up on Wall St. |

Indoor Basic - Belaying
A.M. Warm up bouldering. Initial knot review. Belay command review. Belaying skills. Belay practice.

P.M. Another afternoon to rest up by doing detailed beadwork at Beads and Beyond on Wall St. |

Introduction To Outdoors
A day trip to one of our favorite rock climbing sites where climbers will enjoy a full day of climbing the Real Rocks. |

General description: Climbers in this intense workshop will have the opportunity to learn and practice basic and advanced climbing techniques and skills like: tying knots, movement techniques, proficient belaying skills, equipment and rope management. Participants will also be introduced to real outdoor climbing and spend several days trying different types of climbs. A night of camping will be spent with their rock climbing peers. |

Meet: 8:00am at Climbmax 43 Wall St
Return: Friday afternoon around 5:30pm TWO great FULL days of rock climbing on the Real Rocks. An Evening of camping and sitting around the fire telling tales of mountain adventures. Food provided and, Yes, MARSH MELLOWS!
